Welcome move by IISc ater a long due

IISc has recently declared the merit list of KVPY fellows.  The merit list is based on 75% weightage for Aptitude Test marks and 25% weightage for the interview marks in the streams SA, SB, SX. This is a welcome move, KVPY has also admitted putting the students marks on the web site which is again a very positive move. we have been trying for the same since last 3 year, such move will further build the credibility of the KVPY selection process. Reduced weight age of the interview in the selection process is also a very good and positive step. We should thanks to IISC and Governing council of KVPY for taking such corrective measures.
